ST Pharm Banwol Campus Awarded EcoVadis 'Gold' Medal

ST Pharm (CEO, Mooje Sung) announced that its Banwol Campus has been awarded a 'Gold' medal from EcoVadis. This recognition comes five years after the company first received a 'Bronze' medal in 2019.

EcoVadis is a leading global sustainability rating agency, evaluating companies from 180 countries and approximately 130,000 enterprises based on four key areas: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. The agency awards medals based on performance, with Platinum (Top 1%), Gold (Top 5%), Silver (Top 15%), and Bronze (Top 35%) designations.

ST Pharm has been systematically managing and promoting activities across these areas by setting medium- to long-term goals and establishing a structured management system. In line with this, the company declared its commitment to social responsibility management on May 31, 2023, and established the 'ST Pharm Code of Ethics,' outlining principles and practices for ethical management.

The company publishes an annual Social Responsibility Performance Report, which is based on 45 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess and review the sustainability of its social responsibility efforts. Following the Bronze medal in 2019 and Silver medal in 2022, this marks ST Pharm’s achievement of a Gold medal after five years.

In March, ST Pharm established a Sustainable Management Team and developed a reporting system aligned with global standards. The company is also working on building a climate change response governance and setting carbon reduction targets based on SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative) to address climate-related risks.

CEO Mooje Sung stated, "As a leading global CDMO company, we actively respond to stakeholder demands and transparently disclose sustainability information ahead of regulatory requirements. This strategy is crucial for securing differentiated global competitiveness. We will continue to uphold our vision as an innovative company that saves lives by fulfilling our social responsibilities and adhering to management principles."
