ST Pharm Enhances Stakeholder Communication with Release of First Sustainability Report

- Slogan: “Innovating Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow”

- Includes five strategic directions and 15 strategic tasks

ST Pharm (CEO Mooje Sung) officially announced on the 24th that it has published its first Sustainability Report, which outlines the company’s sustainability performance, future strategies, and plans.

This report was prepared to transparently disclose and communicate with stakeholders about the social and environmental impacts of ST Pharm’s business operations.

Previously, in May 2023, ST Pharm declared its commitment to Social Responsibility Management, which marked the beginning of a strengthened sustainable management system. The first report contains in detail five strategic directions and 15 strategic tasks established under the vision of “An Innovative Company That Saves Lives” and the slogan “Innovating Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow.”

Based on the five strategic directions, the “Healthy Sustainability Areas” section was created to comprehensively convey ST Pharm’s sound and sustainable management system. The main areas include:

  • Healthy Products (responsible product development and quality control),

  • Healthy Workplace (reinforcement of safety, health, and talent development),

  • Healthy Communities (supply chain management and social contribution),

  • Healthy Planet (response to climate change and environmental management system), and

  • Healthy Management (transparent governance and ethical management).

The report also discloses major sustainability activities and key achievements for 2024. In particular, it highlights the identification of potential impacts through climate change scenario analysis and the establishment of corresponding response strategies.

To systematically manage greenhouse gas emissions, ST Pharm reorganized its greenhouse gas inventory and refined its management system by segmenting Scope 3 (other indirect emissions) into a total of nine categories.

The ST Pharm Sustainability Report was prepared based on major international reporting guidelines such as the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) Standards 2021 and SASB (Sustainability Accounting Standards Board), and its accuracy and reliability were secured through third-party verification by an independent external professional organization.

An ST Pharm representative stated, “We will continue to actively meet stakeholders’ expectations and transparently disclose sustainability-related information,” and added, “We will internalize our sustainability strategy throughout all areas of management and continue to enhance our sustainability activities to meet global standards.”
